Designed and built to world-class standards, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) is the first convention centre in Asia to be ‘Benchmarked’ by Green Globe International (2007) and the city’s most technologically-advanced, purpose-built facility for international, regional and local conventions, tradeshows, public exhibitions, entertainment and even, intimate private functions. The award-winning venue has 2 auditoria; Plenary Hall and Plenary Theatre (seating 3,000 and 500 respectively); a Grand Ballroom, 3 Conference Halls, a Banquet Hall, 5 Exhibition Halls (9,710m2 of column-free exhibition space on a single level), 20 meeting rooms plus the latest in 3G telecommunications and digital audio-visual facilities.

Getting to the Centre from KLIA (6 Minute Video)

By Road

If you are in a taxi or a chauffeured car, approach the Centre along Jalan Pinang and turn left into the Main Entrance (second turn after the Mandarin Oriental Hotel) for drop off.

If you are driving, here are your parking options:

Take the first left after the Mandarin Oriental Hotel from Jalan Pinang up the ramp to access the car park at the Centre’s basement.
Park at the KLCC Suria car park and exit to the Concourse level Centre Court. Make your way past Cold Storage to the Guardian Pharmacy where there is a covered walkway through to the Centre. Take the elevator to the Ground Floor where you will be directed to the Registration area.

By Train

Light Rail Transit (LRT) from Kelana Jaya Line to KLCC station. Then take the left turn and walk through Suraya KLCC Shopping Centre Concourse level to Center Court. Then again turn left and cross Cold Storage and reach Guardian Pharmacy. Then follow the covered walkway to Centre. Take the elevator to the ground floor. Registration zone is on ground floor.

By Taxi

Take taxi and come over Jalan Pinang and turn left to take the entry in the main entrance (immediate second turn from Meridian Oriental Hotel). Leave the wheels there.

On Foot

From the Suria KLCC shopping centre’s Concourse Level Centre Court, make your way past Cold Storage to the Guardian Pharmacy where there is a covered walkway through to the Centre. Take the elevator to the Ground Level of the Centre where you will be directed to the Registration area.
The Centre is also accessible for delegates and visitors via the air-conditioned Bukit Bintang-KLCC Link Bridge. The link bridge features entrance/exit at the Pavilion Mall (Bukit Bintang), Wisma Cosway, Jalan Perak and the Impiana KLCC Hotel with convenient exit escalators and staircases) located at the main entrance to the Centre. This air-conditioned link allows delegates and visitors to travel conveniently, comfortably and safely on foot.

Visa information

Most nationalities do not require a visa for social visits but must own a valid passport or travel document with six months validity beyond the period of stay.  Professional Visit Pass (PVP) is required for business engagement. For those nationalities that need a visa, applications can be made at the nearest Malaysian overseas mission with the following documentation:

  1. Visa application form with three passport-sized photographs
  2. National passport with the remaining validity period of six months
  3. Letter of introduction or invitation.
